About the Hawaii Agricultural Foundation

Our Mission

We are a non-profit organization created to promote agriculture and farming in the State of Hawaii. We support and sustain Hawaii’s agricultural industry by addressing critical needs and services of farmers and the agricultural industry in Hawaii, and by better connecting the farmers with the community and vice-versa. This involves educational and outreach programs in the community, as well as direct marketing, technical, educational and in-the-field support for farmers.

Educational Programs

HAF Education Programs address the need to increase local food production in Hawaii and garner greater community support for local agriculture. Through K-12 ag education, students begin to foster an appreciation for agriculture at the earliest stages of development, and gain interest in exploring an ag-related career.
